Jacob's Landing - front walk out condo. Bay view

This cozy condo was a perfect home-away-from home! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we found everything we needed for everything from coffee in the mornings to cooking complete meals to baking a Thanksgiving pie. All the furniture is super comfortable in addition to being attractively modern. But the most impressive thing is the expansive view of Birch Bay! All we had to do was step out the door and cross a street and we had what felt like miles of trail and beach for daily dog walks. Nicole is responsive and helpful and truly cares about her guests’ experience.

Great 2 bedroom condo with walkout to beach. Condo has lots of space with kitchen all set up for cooking with lots of utensils. Condo came with coffee! The owner was able to accommodate a last minute reservation. Really easy to work with. This condo is walkable to 4 restaurants and the local bar that has music. View of the bay is amazing!

I appreciated the responsive of the host, the location was great, check in was easy and check out was minimal effort which I appreciated. Unfortunately there was a very noticeable cigarette odor that I wish I was warned about at booking. I let the know host know about it and they said to air out the unit however it did not dissipate. It seems a smoker does or once lived there. If this can be resolved it would be an easy 5 stars. I wanted to message the host about it after the stay however Airbnb message app showed the host no longer had access to messages. I hope they can fix the odor and get up and running again.

We go to Birch Bay every year and we love staying at Jacob’s Landing in a ground floor unit. We are happy to have found this condo. You are steps from the water and the views/sunsets were fantastic. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the smell. Someone had clearly smoked cigarettes in this unit in the past. It wasn’t terrible but you are aware it’s there. If someone has lots of sensitivity to that, they would have trouble. I didn’t mind but it bothered my wife. We smelled it when we first walked in and when we would return after being away for the day. It seems it airs out once the door is open or maybe you just get used to it. Seemed to be worse in the back bed room too. All in all it’s a great location, stocked with all you need, comfortable furniture, good kitchen, etc. only thing I would recommend is a patio umbrella and a mat in the shower. Our 4 year old almost slipped and fell and I thought it was slippery too when I was showering. We will book again! 5 stars for Alison! Thx!

Great and friendly host!

We had a great stay over the 4th! The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is fantastic and the views from the patio were perfect for viewing the 4th of July fun at the bay. Everything was just as described, and Allison's team was responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay again!

The hosts were very friendly check in was great. Despite the floors being dirty and when we arrived there was a note from a label maker that said bbq was out of order and the amenities said it had a bbq so we had to change our dinner plans so kind of inconvenient. But other than those two flaws it was a great place, location and easy drive to Blaine central. Alison and Nichole were very responsive.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Great kitchen with any utensil you could need. The pool is huge and a big hit with the kiddos and an amazing view/sunsets from the patio. Would definitely rent this place again.

Alison is a great host. Friendly, responsive, easy communication. Her rental is spacious and clean, and best of all the ocean is just across the street. Birch Bay is gorgeous! Lovely stay.
